The power behind Belchamp Farm Services
Machinery
The main cultivations for the operation are carried out by by two 400Hp Claas- CAT challenger machines pulling Vaderstad Top Down stubble cultivators.
The crop establishment is carried out by 2 Vadersatad Top Down till seeders for OSR drilling whilst two 8 metre Horsch drills cover the winter wheat area quickly and efficiently.
Crop protection over the whole acreage is capably handled by two very large Multidrive self propelled sprayers. This set up ensures that the entire wheat acreage can be covered in 4 days ensuring timely crop protection.
Finally the harvesting is covered by a Claas Lexion 600 and a Claas Lexion 580+. Between these high capacity machines it is quite possible to harvest over 200 acres a day in average conditions.
Workforce
It goes without saying that this equipment is little use without a highly knowledgeable workforce with a range of different skills.
